While most Americans were busy preparing to give thanks with family and friends for their many blessings, dozens of anti-Second Amendment lawmakers doubled down on their crusade to eliminate gun rights.
The mad rush for more gun control through the Background Check Expansion Act was led by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT). He was joined by 44 like-minded senators in reintroducing the legislation, which had already failed, for another try.
Murphy predictably labeled his bill as “common sense,” as if every U.S. citizen should be thrilled about handing over their fundamental rights.
Anti-gunners want federal control of private gun sales
Former Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer tried to put lipstick on a legislative pig by citing previous gun control efforts. He included one from the previous administration that only passed because a Texas Republican abandoned his post and caved to political pressure.
“A few years ago, the Senate proved we could enact commonsense gun reform with the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. But we must go further,” Schumer claimed. “A vast majority of Americans support background checks, and it’s nothing but obedience to the gun lobby and special interests to continue to block the will of the people.”
No other constitutionally protected freedom endures the attacks launched at the Second Amendment
Actually, the people’s obvious will is to be capable of freely exercising constitutional rights without suppression by radical anti-gunners.
Should you really have to conduct a background check to exchange a firearm with a friend? Is there anything in the Second Amendment that in any way indicates the Founding Fathers thought this was a good idea?
The answer is no.
The freedoms of speech, religion, the press, and so many others deserve unfettered access, and only the most extreme exceptions should be considered.
There’s no better way to show your patriotism than with merch that speaks before you do.
Defend America is more than a name, it’s a stand for freedom, resilience, and the values this country was built on. Every tee, hat, and mug is a symbol of unapologetic pride. Wear it loud, wear it proud, and let the world know: freedom isn’t negotiable.
