Anti-Gunners Misplace Blame After Brown, Australia Shootings

A suspect on Saturday killed two people and injured nine others in a senseless attack at Brown University. This was followed shortly after by the terrorist attack on Australia’s Bondi Beach that killed 15 Hanukkah celebrants and shocked the world.

Next came the immediate mad rush to blame inanimate objects for the vile deeds of evil criminals.

Basketball coach claims mass shootings only exist in the US

One of the first volleys was fired by USC women’s basketball coach Lindsay Gottlieb, a Brown graduate who took time from a postgame press conference to blast the Second Amendment.

“It’s the guns,” Gottlieb claimed. “It doesn’t need to be this way. We are the only country that lives this way. Parents should not have to be worried about their kids.”

We are the only country that lives this way? Tell that to Australian citizens who woke up this morning under the specter of radical terrorists targeting innocent people for their religious beliefs.

Australia’s oppressive gun control regime did not stop beach attack

It is important to note that Australia has some of the harshest gun control laws in the world and underwent a massive confiscation program after another terrorist attack. A program that did nothing to prevent the weekend tragedy.

Gottlieb was not the only vocal critic of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Steve Kerr, coach of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, jumped at the chance to push for even more stringent gun control before the facts of the Brown shooting were even known.

“We know there are commonsense measures we can take that will save people’s lives,” Kerr declared. “I just want people out there, it doesn’t matter if you’re Democrat or Republican, gun owner or non-gun owner, I just want people thinking, ‘What if it were my child, what if it were my brother or sister?”

With all due respect, they should be thinking about how best to defend themselves and their loved ones from unhinged criminals. A legal firearm could be the difference between life and death when under attack, and that is the beauty of the Second Amendment.A suspect on Saturday killed two people and injured nine others in a senseless attack at Brown University. There’s no better way to show your patriotism than with merch that speaks before you do.

Defend America is more than a name, it’s a stand for freedom, resilience, and the values this country was built on. Every tee, hat, and mug is a symbol of unapologetic pride. Wear it loud, wear it proud, and let the world know: freedom isn’t negotiable.
