Second Amendment enthusiasts grew accustomed in recent years to knowing that federal agencies with oversight of their favorite pastime were aggressively antagonistic to the very same rights they were charged to uphold.
That tide is turning, and in a big way.
This week, the White House named Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey as the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI’s) co-deputy director. As AG in the Show Me State since 2023, he has produced an admirable track record of support for gun rights and opposition to government overreach.
The weaponization of the FBI and other agencies is drawing to a close
Bailey used his power as the state’s top prosecutor to target both federal and local authorities who misused their power over the right to keep and bear arms.
Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News Digital that Bailey brings a lifetime of service to the role.
“I am thrilled to welcome Andrew Bailey as Co-Deputy Director of the FBI,” Bondi declared. “He has served as a distinguished state attorney general and is a decorated war veteran, bringing expertise and dedication to service.”
Missouri is a leader in protecting gun rights for law-abiding citizens
Besides a proven track record supporting gun rights, Bailey also demonstrated, as Missouri’s AG, his dedication to law enforcement and public safety.
His state permits open and concealed carry of firearms for anyone 19 years of age and older—18 if enlisted in the military. Private arms sales do not require a background check, and permits are not mandated for the purchase and/or carry of a weapon.
Bailey also placed himself out in front of gun rights by valiantly defending the Second Amendment Preservation Act, which was enacted to prevent Missouri officials from enforcing federal laws that violate the Constitution.
There’s no better way to show your patriotism than with merch that speaks before you do.
Defend America is more than a name, it’s a stand for freedom, resilience, and the values this country was built on. Every tee, hat, and mug is a symbol of unapologetic pride. Wear it loud, wear it proud, and let the world know: freedom isn’t negotiable.
