‘Global’ Gun Control Outfit Supports Hawaii’s ‘Vampire Rule’

Sometimes, when a defeat is so utterly thorough and convincing, the wounded party wisely decides that their time and talent are best utilized elsewhere.

Other times, just the opposite occurs and the defeated returns for more humiliation.

Take Jonathan Lowy. He is formerly with Brady and now identifies as the leader of Global Action on Gun Violence—whatever that is. And he suffered a humiliating defeat earlier this year when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that his client in Smith & Wesson v. Mexico had no legal legs to stand on.

Lowy failed spectacularly once but is back for another round before the high court

Mexico attempted to blame its out-of-control cartel violence on American gun manufacturers.

Lowy is back, and this time his group submitted an amicus brief in Wolford v. Lopez. This case challenges Hawaii’s draconian gun control regime, particularly the clearly unconstitutional “vampire rule.”

This statute bars concealed carry on private property unless the property owner explicitly approves it. Lowy’s “global” group went so far as to claim that the law should be held because the Supreme Court was badly mistaken in its 2008 Heller ruling.

Anti-gunners believe there is no right to keep and bear arms for ordinary citizens

The bench determined correctly 17 years ago that the Second Amendment protects a law-abiding citizen’s right to keep and bear arms. Incredibly, this fundamental freedom is a false liberty, according to Global Action on Gun Violence.

Lowy claimed that the Second Amendment’s right to keep and bear arms applied only to members of state militias. There is no guaranteed freedom to armed self-defense, which is the undying dream of anti-gunners.

To be clear, this cabal does not seek to control violent crime and protect innocent victims. It is only interested in disarming good people and leaving them vulnerable in a way the Founding Fathers could never have imagined.

The Supreme Court would do very well to ignore this legal drivel and uphold the Second Amendment.

There’s no better way to show your patriotism than with merch that speaks before you do.

Defend America is more than a name, it’s a stand for freedom, resilience, and the values this country was built on. Every tee, hat, and mug is a symbol of unapologetic pride. Wear it loud, wear it proud, and let the world know: freedom isn’t negotiable.
