This happened in my home town, right down to the county. The area is a combination of middle class and upper middle class families and extremely diverse. The neighbor on my right was white, the neighbor on the left Vietnamese and their neighbor was Indian. Basically, my neighborhood looked like a United Colors of Benetton ad.
I say all that to say this. To the people who like to live in a little make believe bubbles, where violence doesn’t exist and nobody really needs a gun to protect themselves, this happened at a police officers house, who lived in a “safe neighborhood”.
