Four alleged carjackers in Washington state chose 3:30 a.m. to target their prey, and they likely assumed that it would be easy pickings. They were wrong.
The driver was not only legally armed, but he also did not hesitate to act when confronted with a violent threat. Thanks to the Second Amendment, this Seattle encounter had a happy ending.
The presence of a loaded firearm quickly turned the tables
The driver described a frightening scenario to the police when they arrived. He reportedly parked his sports car on the street when four masked assailants in a white sedan converged on him and attempted to steal his car.
Two of the suspects brandished weapons, and the intended victim had to react immediately.
Law enforcement found a suspect at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. It turned out that he was not the only one on the receiving end of armed self-defense when investigators discovered that the white sedan dropped another wounded member of the party off at Harborview Medical Center.

That man is listed in serious condition and is being treated under armed guard. The two remaining suspects fled, and officials continue to search for them.
As for the victim, he was taken to Seattle Police Headquarters for questioning before being released. There were no charges filed.
There were also no reports indicating that he was injured, which is remarkable considering he collided with four assailants—at least two of whom were armed.
But that is the power and the glory of the Second Amendment. A lone man in the wee hours of the morning is confronted on the street by four carjackers, and he shoots two and sends the rest running for their lives.
Anti-gunners will not agree, but this right is a fundamental to the American citizen as free speech and the right to worship as you please.
