Arkansas Officials Seek Answers to Deadly ATF Raid

A bipartisan group of 30 Arkansas state senators demanded an investigation into the tragically botched raid two years ago by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) that took the life of an upstanding local citizen.

The lawmakers asked President Donald Trump (R) to direct the Department of Justice (DOJ) to conduct the probe into events that exploded in March 2024.

Lawmakers want an official explanation for local leader’s shooting death

Bryan Malinowski was the Executive Director of the Clinton National Airport in Little Rock. Federal officials accused the victim of purchasing over 150 firearms during a nearly three-year period and reselling some without having a federal firearms license (FFL).

Understand that Malinowski was a lifelong gun enthusiast who regularly attended gun shows to buy, sell, and trade his collection. He had no knowledge of a federal investigation and no reason to believe that the mob that appeared on his porch in the early morning was anything but a home invasion.

It is important to note that, under Arkansas law, individuals do not need permission to conduct a private sale between two persons.

ATF agents raided airport director’s home and shot him in the head

For his “crimes,” a team of ATF agents raided Malinowski’s home at 6 a.m. They broke through the door with a battering ram, and the airport director had every reason to believe that his and his wife’s lives were in imminent danger.

As many upstanding Americans would, Malinowski grabbed a firearm and fired to defend his family. One of his rounds struck an ATF agent in the foot, and the family man was shot in the forehead moments later.

After two days, Malinowski was pronounced dead. He was 53.

Arkansas state Senator Mark Johnson (R) detailed the lawmakers’ motivation. “We don’t have answers, we only have questions. We are asking the president to direct the DOJ to investigate. There is conflicting information from the ATF. The citizens of Arkansas deserve the truth.”

With recent, extensive reforms to the DOJ and ATF, there’s a high likelihood that legislators will receive a positive response to their letter.

There’s no better way to show your patriotism than with merch that speaks before you do.

Defend America is more than a name, it’s a stand for freedom, resilience, and the values this country was built on. Every tee, hat, and mug is a symbol of unapologetic pride. Wear it loud, wear it proud, and let the world know: freedom isn’t negotiable.
