Growing up in the city I wasn’t too familiar with hunting. Now that I have a couple of hunts under my belt, I can really appreciate what it is like being away from the concrete jungle of the city and in nature without any distractions. I think this is why there is a soft spot in my heart for organizations like 2 Million Bullets, an inner city hunting and firearm awareness program.

I love that I have been able to experience these things at this point in my life, but I was lucky. I go on about how much of a city boy I am, but there is something about the tradition of hunting and the outdoors that breeds a level of self reliance and responsibility that I think my generation tends to over look.

Currently, the organization is taking part in Under Armor’s NEXT Generation Charity Challenge. I donated to the cause and was going to walk away before I realized I could start my own team and help raise money to win the Challenge.  I’ve decided to put together my own fundraiser team. The Challenge ends on the 29th  of October and the organization is currently in 3rd Place.

I swear no one asked me to do this. I have received a ton of support from you guys and I think its time to use that support for something good. With that, I am asking all of my supporters to go to this LINK and make a donation in any amount you can spare. I really believe in this cause. A lot of kids in the inner city don’t have the access to or ability to learn about the responsible use of firearms from a responsible, recreational, perspective. I believe organizations like 2 Million Bullets will spark an healthy understanding of firearm use and recreation in the current youth.
