I’ve stated on numerous videos that I am a capacity whore. It’s not that I have some deep seated firearm insecurity, I am just a firm believer in my non awesomeness when it comes to  shooting a handgun under stress.  Also,  the ability  various pistol calibers to stop fights quickly are too damn inconsistent if you ask me. Yes, even the mythical 45acp has been known to not get the job done.  Unfortunately, Sergeant Timothy Gramins learned this the hard way.

Before the call that changed Sergeant Timothy Gramins’ life forever, he typically carried 47 rounds of handgun ammunition on his person while on duty.

Today, he carries 145, “every day, without fail.”

He detailed the gunfight that caused the difference in a gripping presentation at the annual conference of the Assn. of SWAT Personnel-Wisconsin.
